Catawba County and the Greater
Hickory Metro boast a long list of educational resources: pre-schools;
primary and secondary schools; and, centers of higher learning.
The commitment to life-long learning is one of the cornerstones
of our region’s growth.
Local leaders have helped create a venue for learning at many
different levels to address many different stages of life. Their
vision, by putting in place the necessary components to educate
our children, youth and adults, has laid the foundation for success
well into the 21st century.
Whether its educating our young people, training a world class
workforce, connecting local folks with diverse educational offerings
from around the state for two and four-year degrees or providing
continuing education classes to enrich the golden retirement
years, Catawba County meets the need.
