of Governments (WPCOG) is one of 18 lead regional organizations
in North Carolina. WPCOG has 28 local government members (cities,
towns, and counties) in the counties of Alexander, Burke, Caldwell,
and Catawba. Since 1968, WPCOG has provided planning services,
project administration, and technical assistance to its member
governments and to the region as a whole.
